Deworming horses is crucial for their health and well-being because internal parasites can cause a range of serious problems, including colic, weight loss, poor coat, and more. Wimpy used to fit in one hand! Now, I can barely pick him up. 😭💜 I get so emotional thinking about his journey and how hard he fought to live. As most of you know, he was born prematurely, alone with his other siblings, and ended up with a severe URI that turned into pneumonia. He spiked a high fever and eventually lost all of his hair because of it. One obstacle after another was thrown at him. Thankfully, he was able to be reunited with his family full-time after living in the house for a couple of months.
