ALONG THE WAY INC
We are a 501c3 providing exceptional workforce development and holisitic support to enter and stay in the workforce, including, but not limited to, in-home child care services for families who work nontraditional hours. Along The Way is a non-profit organization that offers acceptance, community and hope to single mothers living in PA. Our program provides high-quality, free, in-home childcare to low-income single mothers during non-traditional hours, allowing them to invest in their financial and family stability through the pursuit of their career and education goals. As a non-traditional workforce development program with wraparound services supporting financial literacy and parenting, we realize that women need knowledge AND practical support. Mothers who do not have reliable child care can not accept employment, and/or jeopardize their employment by needing to call out of work to care for their children -- all of which is to their great economic detriment and that of the local community.
