Arkansans coming together to be part of an organization that helps enforce Arkansas animal cruelty laws and help rural pounds across the state. A is diligently battling the issues initiating the animal welfare incubuses. At this time, enforcement is segregated between city and county with no state supervision or reporting. A vast area of AR is not protected by any animal control authority or a local animal control facility. AAA is pushing for the state to establish a statewide animal control and shelter structure with state enforcement. Our local and state leaders must be educated and encouraged to support stricter animal welfare laws. AAA will partner with rural pounds to educate and support the structuring of their local volunteer base which can make a long-term impact for their local animals. With more domestic animals being dumped and born than rescues and local shelters can accommodate, something must change!!
