North America's largest auto museum displaying over 400 vintage vehicles on a 90 acre historic campus, celebrating 50 years! 1966-2016 Driven By History. 🚘 The Gilmore Car Museum grew out of the hobby of Donald S. Gilmore and was established as a non-profit, open to the public museum in 1966. Today the museum's 90-acre campus houses 10 historic buildings which serve as an Automotive Heritage and Discovery Center. We strive to preserve and share automotive history with future generations. Our campus is made up of several significant barns which have been dismanteled and re-assembled on site and provide display area for a every growing collection of autos. Further, the museum has become the home of the Classic Car Club of America Museum, Pierce-Arrow Society Museum and the Tucker Historical Collection. The museum is the site of several community events annually.
