FAITH, HOPE, LOVE “So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” — 1 Corinthians 13:13 (ESV) How can you tell if you’re living in faith? Look at your attitude. The Bible shows us that faith is partnered with hope and love. These don’t make you perfect, but they do make you a person of faith. Hope is a confident expectation of good—an excitement about what God will do. A person full of hope sees the silver lining and expects the best. Love in this verse is God’s kind of love—self-sacrificing, putting others first even when it’s inconvenient. It doesn’t hold grudges or demand its own way. Love forgives, serves, and stays humble. So ask yourself: Am I living in faith? Is there hope in my words? Do I lead with love? Confession of the Day I walk in faith, I live with hope, and I lead with love. I expect God’s goodness, speak with grace, and forgive freely. These three remain in me—faith, hope, and love. (fb)
