Washington Chinese Youth Club, Inc. of Washington DC Area (CYC) is an organization that provides opportunities for its members to be productive individuals in the local community. Their emphasis is on fostering youth development through the active participation of members in the different CYC Programs (Athletics, Community, Cultural, Education). CYC attempts to build the character of youth in the community to positively impact their personal and professional lives. CYC believes that character building results from teamwork and good sportsmanship, while instilling in them positive values such as integrity, respect, and volunteerism. CYC program gives senior members the opportunity to work with junior members and help them uncover their cultural identity, true passions & unique talents.
