The USHCC Foundation, founded in 1993, grew out of the realization that Latino entrepreneurs need a greater network of support for gaining access to wealth generation opportunities and that the traditional methods and institutions generally charged with providing this type of learning stimulus have failed and/or neglected to place priority on this group of people. Hence, the founding of the USHCC Foundation to advocate for greater entrepreneurship learning opportunities for Latino entrepreneurs, incliding youth, and for developing, brokering and steering available resources within the Latino business and education community, as well as within the community at large, to take greater responsibility and develop strategic yet measurable efforts for ensuring that Latinos receive the training and experiential opportunities required to achieve succeess and become successful business leaders within our Nation.
