Under the baton of MusicDirector and Conductor, Carl Johnson(http://www.desmoinescommunityorchestra.org/johnson.htm) , the Des Moines CommunityOrchestra is composed mainly of non-professional musicians whoselove of music keeps them coming together to perform the great symphonicworks of the masters, as well as new works by living composers.In addition to a love of classical music, the orchestra is deeplycommitted to making classical music concerts accessible to everyone,regardless of financial resources. Musician members pay dues in order tokeep admission free to the public!
