CHA Animal Shelter is looking to add two Animal Care Takers to the shelter team. Position 1: 5-hour shift, 7am-12pm, Monday through Friday. Position 2: 5-hour shift, 3pm-8pm, Monday through Friday. Duties of both positions include providing direct animal care for dogs and cats, cleaning animal cages and general shelter spaces, monitoring the health and mental wellbeing of the shelter animals, assisting shelter visitors, providing enrichment to our animals, and working side-by-side with shelter volunteers. Must be detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be willing to go the extra mile for animal comfort. The beginning pay rate is $13.50 per hour. CHA offers generous vacation and personal time as well as veterinary benefits. We are unable to offer in-house health insurance at this time.
