DHS explored "Rights & Responsibilities in History" this Saturday with students who were competing in Delaware History Day, the state affiliate of National History Day. Students presented their projects, including documentaries, exhibits, performances, websites, and papers, to volunteer judges who selected students to advance to the national contest in College Park, Md. in June. Topics included Child Labor in the Early 1900s of America, Japanese-American Internment, The Medicare Act of 1972, Title IX, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and more.
