WELCOME TO THE Florida Association of Recovery Residences The mission of the Florida Association of Recovery Residences FARR is to ensure the safety and integrity of recovery housing across Florida by establishing and enforcing quality standards as set out in Florida Statute 397. 487. Through accreditation oversight education and advocacy we support ethical practices that promote longterm recovery and protect individuals from exploitation.

Meet the Team: Austin Cook, Southeast Regional Coordinator Austin Cook joined FARR in March 2025, bringing over a decade of experience in the recovery field to his role as Southeast Regional Coordinator. Based in our Boynton Beach office, he conducts onsite assessments, schedules provider visits, and supports organizations in meeting FARR and NARR standards. With a background as a Behavioral Health Technician and years in leadership roles, Austin brings hands-on knowledge, empathy, and accountability to his work—helping providers create safe, effective recovery environments.
