THE OBJECT OF THE NEW YORK GENERAL THORACIC SURGERY CLUB INC. SHALL BE TO ENCOURAGE INVESTIGATIONS OF THE PHYSIOLOGY AND PATHOLOGY OF THE THORAX AND ITS CONTENTS, WITH PARTICULAR EMPHASIS ON NON-CARDIAC THORACIC DISEASE. FURTHERMORE, THE SOCIETY SHOULD STIMULATE THE STUDY OF THE ETIOLOGY, SYMPTOMATOLOGY, AND TREATMENT OF THESE DISEASES AFFECTING THE THORAX AND ITS CONTENTS, AND SHOULD ATTEMPT TO DISSEMINATE SUCH KNOWLEDGE.

NYGTSC - New York General Thoracic Surgery Club New York General Thoracic Surgical Club Welcome to the website of the New York General Thoracic Surgical Club NYGTSC. The NYGTSC is a group of likeminded thoracic surgeons in NYC and the surrounding areas who gather twice a year for an evening of education camaraderie and scientific research. Our goal is to foster a spirit of collaboration and friendship between our members with the common goal being to advance medical care for our patients. This is an inclusive group where officers are democratically elected by the membership where new ideas can be freely discussed and where we hope multiinstitutional clinical and research collaborations can germinate and grow.
