The Wilson County Salvation Army  Lake Street Learning Center's goal is to give after-school academic, relational, and spiritual help to "At-risk" children in the neediest area of Wilson County.  The Salvation Army Roast Cafe is a weekend coffee shop in Wilson County open 7-midnight to give teens and young adults a safe alternative to the bar and drug scene. The Wilson County Salvation Army's Center of Hope gives food, gas,winter housing, and help with rent to people transitioning out of homelessness.  It also provides holiday meals to more than 500 families each year, and Christmas gifts to needy children.  The National Salvation Army's mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
