It is the Mission of the Shenandoah Community Foundation to connect people who care with causes that matter in Shenandoah County, Virginia, and surrounding areas. To accomplish our Mission, we use a four-fold approach: 1. We serve individual and corporate donors by providing cost-effective tools and vehicles for their philanthropy. 2. We support the area non-profit organizations with their various community missions by helping them establish endowments and connecting them with potential donors. 3. We strive to meet specific community needs through scholarship and grants. 4. We seek to educate the private, corporate, and non-profit sectors of our community about the power and long-term benefit of endowed philanthropic giving.
