Keno has been absolutely thriving in foster and we couldn’t be happier for him! After being adopted and returned due to no fault of his own one of our staff members took him home and he fit right in showing us the loving goofy boy we know him to be! Here is what his foster has to say about having Keno! “Keno has come such a long way, and I’m so proud of him. When he first came to me, he was scared of everything. He is now curious, playful, and even a little goofy. He’s started playing with toys, enjoys walks around the neighborhood, and absolutely loves other animals. Younger, playful dogs especially help bring him out of his shell. He’s totally crate trained, does great on a 9-5 schedule, and is fully house-trained (his only accident was 100% my fault for missing his cues). I normally don’t let fosters sleep in my bed, but Keno is so calm and sweet that he curls up next to me and sleeps through the night (even if my other animals are up and walking around). He’s still more comfortable at home than in new places, but we’re working on his confidence day by day. He’s shy at first, but once he knows he’s safe, he’ll give you so much love in return.
