⚠️ SOS — all of our nursing mom + puppy foster homes are FULL and we are having to turn down requests for help! We desperately need new fosters willing to take mom dogs with puppies. These dog families are at high risk of being euthanized at area shelters. They are extra vulnerable because they need more time and can't just be placed for adoption. We can't intervene without lifesaving fosters! - We provide all of the supplies and training you will need - It's okay if you have other pets, as long as you have a separate room where you can keep the mom & puppies - Typical foster timelines range around 4-8 weeks Fostering these families takes effort and a lot of love, but we promise, it will be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life—not only will you be quite literally saving their lives, but as their protector and caretaker, you are instrumental in giving them a chance to have happy future lives. Commence Operation Save Frannie's Leg! This happy, beautiful girl showed up at a stranger's front door with her lower leg broken clean through. We have no idea how she was injured, and unfortunately no owner ever came looking for her. But since we got her into treatment early, there's a much better chance for it to successfully heal. Recoveries like this are tricky and can take some time, but we believe it's worth every effort to save Frannie's leg and avoid amputating if we can.
