On September 26, 2000, Margaret McDermott made a transformative gift to The University of Texas at Dallas, founding the Eugene McDermott Scholars Program. Today, we honor her remarkable generosity and foresight, and we celebrate the many lives and communities that have been profoundly impacted by her actions.
