SO YOU THINK BACH CAN DANCE? Join us this Saturday, March 22 at 11:00 AM at the College of William & Mary for a joint program sponsored by the Richmond and Tidewater AGO Chapters! Dr. Ted Davis, organist and choirmaster at St. Bartholomew's Church in Baltimore (and former music director at Reveille UMC here in Richmond!), presents "So You Think Bach Can Dance: a fresh look at some of Bach's organ preludes and fugues and the often-overlooked influence of French Dance". Between 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, there will be a reception and an opportunity to visit William & Mary's historic keyboard room, hosted by William & Mary University Organist Thomas Marshall. William & Mary's new Music Arts Center is located at 551 Jamestown Rd in Williamsburg, next to Barksdale Field. Free parking is available in lots near the building and also across the street at Williamsburg United Methodist Church (500 Jamestown Road). If you'd like to carpool, Ryan Tibbetts and Joel Kumro are available to give you a ride! We'll leave from the parking lot at Saint Benedict Catholic Church at 8:45 AM.
