Our mission is to help eligible Veterans find a partner and build a team to help them thrive! Heartland Canines for Veterans is a non-profit organization that specializes in pairing Service Animals with Veterans who are living with Post-Traumatic Stress, anxiety or depressive issues. Our team is made up of professional dog breeders, trainers and executive staff, all of whom are committed to a common goal: helping our Nation’s Veterans Our organization bears the cost of procuring, caring for and training Service Dog candidates, so that they may be paired with a Veteran who is living with mobility issues, anxiety, depression or Post-Traumatic Stress. This service is offered to the Veteran AT NO COST to them, in the hope that they may experience relief from their illnesses or injuries.
