Friends of Kayany Inc
Committed to educating all Syrian refugee children. We offer support to build & run schools, giving children the opportunity to learn. Friends of Kayany supports the education of Syrian refugee children We engage in charitable, educational, scientific and literary projects including the support of schools for Syrian children living in refugee camps in Lebanon. We support schools that are free, nonreligious, nonpolitical and nonsectarian for children ages 5-18. We provide funds for construction and maintenance of schools, teacher training and salaries, students' books, uniforms and backpacks, nutritious daily lunches and health supports. We focus on the most vulnerable students: those who are unschooled. We support vocational programs for the older students as well. Without top-notch schools like those we support, thousands of Syrian refugee children would likely remain unschooled. Our goal is to help them get the education they need and deserve.
