Congratulations to three-time #grootgrant recipient, Travis Townsend, on his recent solo show at the Olin Fine Arts Center at Washington & Jefferson College! Travis creates, deconstructs, rebuilds, paints, and experiments with wood and mixed media sculptures in his Lexington studio. His process-driven works begin as sketches and undergo multiple transformations—cut apart, reassembled, and refined, sometimes years later.
