Friends of the Midland Library Friends of the Midland Library Supporting the MIdland Library Together we can support quality library service in the community through fundraising volunteerism and serving as advocates. About Friends of the Midland Library Our Mission The purpose of this organization shall be to maintain an association of persons interested in libraries to focus public attention on the Midland Library to encourage the use of the librarys resources and services to seek and receive monetary gifts endowments and bequests to the Midland Branch Library to support and cooperate with the Cabarrus County Public Library Midland Branch in developing library services and facilities for the community and to support the freedom to read as expressed in American Library Bill of Rights. Who are the Friends of the Midland Library. The Friends group funds and supplements the librarys operating budget to provide materials and programs that enhance the librarys service.
