Overview

The Ilse Newell Fund for the Performing Arts is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting cultural enrichment through music. Formerly known as the Ilse Newell Concert Series, it now operates as the INConcert Concert Series.

History and Activities

For over 30 years, the Ilse Newell Fund for the Performing Arts has been instrumental in presenting professional classical music concerts along Florida's Forgotten Coast. In addition to its classical offerings, the organization has also initiated a jazz series in Carrabelle, featuring gifted jazz studies students from Florida State University (FSU) and Florida A&M University (FAMU).

Mission

The organization is committed to cultural enrichment, raising awareness of the musical arts, and providing support for student creative development. Its mission includes sharing the enjoyment of music throughout the Franklin County Bay Area.
