Hoover Service Club Welcome to the Hoover Service Club VOTED 2024 BEST LOCAL CAUSE BY HOOVERS MAGAZINE Hoover Service Club was organized by Flora Mae Pike in 1975 for the purpose of helping others in the Hoover Community. Today the club is a group of over 140 civic and serviceminded women who give their time and talents to help meet the needs in the community through scholarships community service grants handson service activities and other volunteer opportunities. Celebrating 50 years of service Founded on May5 1975 Hoover Service Club is celebrating 50 years of service to our community On March 18 Hoover Service Club Board members and the family of our founder Flora Mae Pike were honored to travel to the Alabama State House to celebrate a proclamation honoring the club with the Hoover House delegation. On April 7 at 600 pm at City Hall the club will receive a proclamation from the City of Hoover.
