📣 JOB OPENING 📣 KSSB is NOW HIRING a TSVI Position - Field Services (Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments) LOCATION: Flexible. Preferred candidates must be willing to serve Northeast Kansas. Regular travel is required to various service areas. EMPLOYMENT DATE: August 2025 JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide direct TSVI services for districts/cooperatives who have a student(s) with a visual impairment. A moderate amount of independent judgment is required in prioritizing, arranging, and performing various job duties. Work assigned with some general instructions by the immediate supervisor. Maintain professional records and data to keep Field Services and or Campus department informed of all current and potential developments regarding caseload/district needs. Knowledge of IEP process, multi-disciplinary approach. General knowledge of current trends in technology, including accessibility. Knowledge of technology used for distance communication. (Ex: Zoom).
