The founder, Keronn Walker, is a former professional baseball player and has received accolades for his work, including the President's Award from The Pitch and Hit Club and an appointment as a youth instructor for Major League Baseball's Breakthrough Series Camps. Walker has also served as an area scout for the Chicago Cubs.
