Over The Rainbow - Children's Advocacy Center Serving the children of Franklin County PA April is designated as Child Abuse Awareness Month. Nationwide statistics indicate 1 in 10 children will be sexually abused by their 18th birthday. Nearly 70 of all reported sexual assaults including adults occur to children under the age of 18. 90 of children who are sexually abused know their abuser.
