The MCV Foundation is thrilled to share that we received four awards from PRSA Richmond Chapter at the 78th Annual Virginia Public Relations Awards! This year, we won a Capital Award in the External Video Programs category for our video on Bill Hicks, an energetic grandfather from Gloucester who was given a new lease on life thanks to a motorized exoskeleton. Our video thanking a family for scholarship donations was also a finalist in the same category. We also were finalists in the Feature Stories category for our heartwarming story sharing Kriss and Jessica's journey at The Doorways, and for our story on a successful clinical trial at VCU Health involving a groundbreaking, life-changing gene therapy for sickle cell patients. We are honored to tell the stories of VCU Health and VCU Health Sciences, and to advocate for education, research and patient care in our community and beyond.
