SADDLEBROOKE TROOP SUPPORT
SaddleBrooke Troop Support is a charitable organization dedicated to the support of local Tucson military personnel, their families, and military veterans who are in financial or physical need. Any person or organization may make gifts and donations to STS and all such gifts and donations shall be devoted exclusively to the purposes of this mission statement.STS provides assistance through five Core Programs:1. Military Lounge at Tucson Int'l Airport. A USO-style facility for traveling service members, veterans and their families.2. Food Security Program. Three military food banks and year-round distribution of food cards to active duty and veterans in need.3. Veterans Programs. Donations to Support Homeless Veterans and the SW Blind Rehab Center along with volunteers serving at the Tucson VA Hospital.4. Baby Layettes. Volunteers knit items and make baskets of essentials for newborns to be distributed to expectant mothers by base Family Services programs.5. Emergency Services. Assistance for unexpected challenges faced by deployed service members, active and reserve military, veterans and families.
