The Organization's purpose is to reinforce community values, create community building models and to facilitate community building activities by and with others.

Stairstep was formed as a Godinspired response to a set of awesome challenges that confronted society at large and AfricanAmericans in particular. The AfricanAmerican community is not a monolith.
