The mission of Angelica Center for Arts and Music is to provide underserved youth with an opportunity to develop skills and an appreciation for a wide variety of the arts, creating through individual and ensemble participation a strong sense of community, self-esteem, motivation and responsibility. Angelica Center for Arts and Music, ACAM, nurtures and mentors youth in the arts by exploring and developing their creative abilities in a safe environment because the arts enrich lives. The study, practice and performance of the arts promotes healthy growth and development of children; builds healthier communities by investing in the positive development of children through the arts; and develops children as ambassadors of peace, hope and understanding.
