Second Chance Wildlife Center, Inc.

Preparing for Baby Season takes months of planning, and begins shortly after the previous Baby Season ends. Our team must prepare enclosures for patients at every stage of development. For example, as baby squirrels grow, they graduate through three unique cage sizes before release.

Second Chance Wildlife Center, Inc.

Second Chance celebrates our annual Baby Shower each May to welcome peak Baby Season, but the babies don't stop there. Some animals, like Eastern cottontails, mate from February to September, meaning our team cares for baby bunnies from March to October - more than half of the year. Your donation to our Baby Shower campaign this May will help fund the care of baby patients throughout Summer and even into Fall.
