VAFP is the statewide umbrella nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization for the respective volunteer citizen support groups, perhaps better known as ""Friends Groups,"" and other volunteers supporting the state parks, the state natural areas, and the national parks, monuments and historic sites located throughout the Commonwealth.
