A. This corporation is a RELIGIOUS CORPORATION and is not organized for the private gain of any person. lt is organized under the Nonprofit Religious Corporation Law exclusively for religious purposes. B. The specific purpose of this corporation is to promote the practice of Buddhism in the cause of world peace, harmony and progress. ln furtherance of its purposes this corporation may: (a) Distribute religious material by employing all methods of media, including oral presentations, printed matter audio recordings, and video; (b) Appoint Buddhist Monks; (c) Establish Temples, schools and related institutions; (d) Engage in charitable and humanitarian activities in any country; (e) Contract, rent, buy and sell personal and real property.
