Sustainable Jersey Municipal Certification Program 83 of municipalities are participating and 91 of NJs population lives in these communities Climate Challenge The New Jersey Student Climate Challenge is open to New Jersey public school students in grades 6 to 12. It is an innovative approach for teachers to inspire learning about climate change through interactive placebased projects that align with the New Jersey Climate Change Education Student Learning Standards. Students collaborate in small groups to address a cause or impact of climate change within their school or community showcasing their accomplishments through a digital story.
