San Antonio Judo Parent Booster Inc.
Judo is an Olympic sport and is the second most practiced sport in the world only after Soccer. Here in the United States funding is primarily reserved for those athletes that train at one of the Olympic Training Centers. The athletes here in San Antonio that want to continue to live and train in San Antonio are frequently left off the funding lists for International Tournaments and Training camps. In San Antonio we have 2 Athletes that will be competing for a spot for the 2020 Olympics in Japan. The estimated cost for such a run is staggering.If we want our young and older San Antonio Judoka to continue to excel Nationally and Internationally. We don't want to end a dream because of funding!
