Vizias Research Education & Outreach
Educational: (1) Develop students' skills and interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics by creating extracurricular activities such as camps and competitions and by working in conjunction with currently existing organizations; (2) educate and improve the skills of the current workforce with classes on new and emerging technologies; (3) and provide the general public with opportunities to understand the impact and influence of technology in business, education and government through public forums, conferences and media contributions. Scientific: (1) To research and develop new methods to advance supercomputing, cloud computing, big data analytics, and mobile devices to improve society; (2) to create technology for urban planning and smart cities, such as mobile applications connected to databases that enable citizens to access services, provide feedback and contribute data; (3) to create new technology that improves health data.
