Have you ever spotted a keeled treehopper. Keeled treehoppers are small, about ¼ inch long, brown, and get their names because their pronotums, or part of their thorax, look like saddle-shaped keels. Plants of interest are in the aster family, including asters, cup plant, dahlia, ragweed, and sunflowers.
