The Mandela Day Committee's mission is to honor a great Nobel Peace Prize recipient and his fundamentals of Democracy, freedom of speech and principles of inclusivity, by changing the world one day at a time, regardless of race, religion or political creed. The celebration also enforces and upholds the 4 pillars of that Nelson Mandela advocated for 67 years: food security, volunteerism, shelter and education and literacy.
