With much determination and dedication of volunteer parents as teachers the group grew to twenty children by 1984 and was formally established and approved by the Japanese Ministries of Education and Foreign Affairs as a Japanese supplementary school. Our mission is to provide cultural experiences that enable children from grade K through 9 to acquire a foundation of skills to become productive global citizens.
