Habitat for Humanity International Inc
Home ownership transforms lives, promotes dignity and enhances self-esteem. We provide decent, affordable housing to households in Rutland County that do not qualify for conventional financing. HfHRC provides opportunities for people to experience this transformation by working together to improve the quality of life in their community. Instead of paying most of what they earn in rent, with the help of HfHRC, families can invest in their own home. Consistent with the goals of Habitat for Humanity, we address the issues of low-income housing pursuing new construction, rehabilitation of homes, and minor home repairs making homes more affordable and safer for home buyers seeking to improve the quality of their lives through safe, sufficient, and affordable home ownership.
