Exercises like cycling that challenge your balance, hand-eye coordination, and fine motor control are important components of any exercise plan, especially for people with Parkinson’s. Besides strengthening your heart and lungs, lowering your cholesterol and blood pressure, improving your immune system and boosting your mood, cycling helps counter brain shrinkage and maintains healthy connections between the brain and physical body. - Parkinson's stationary cycling is offered at no-charge at The Meyer Center and -membership is not required to participate in this class.
