That’s why we know how to stand up in the trucking industry and create real change. 🚚 On May 20, 2025 in Austin, TX, OOIDA stood shoulder to shoulder with U.S. DOT Secretary Duffy at a press conference announcing the return of enforcement of the long-standing English proficiency regulations—a move that puts safety and accountability back at the forefront of commercial driver standards. This wasn’t luck. This was a direct result of OOIDA and its members relentless advocacy. 🙌 👉 This change means drivers who cannot read road signs or communicate in emergencies will no longer be allowed to operate commercial vehicles.
