This is accomplished through weekly recovery meetings, mentorship, transition support and practical tools. Freedom House is a long term transition home, providing safety, life training, counseling and mentorship for single moms and their kids,

Part of what we do at Recovering Hope meetings is accurately/biblically define the challenges of addiction and view them through the lens of gospel truth. Addiction is slavery, idolatry (worshipping something other than God), loving something/yourself more than God, or taking refuge in something/someone other than God. Knowing this helps us remedy the situation by going to scripture for guidance.
