Neighborhood Housing Services of Camden, Inc. (NHSCamden), founded in 1987, is a 501(c)(3) community housing development and grassroots service organization. NHSCamden strives to break the cycle of poverty and regenerate the distressed community of Camden City by changing the futures of its low to moderate-income (LMI) families and children for the better through financial education. Our mission is to restore neighborhood stability by promoting the benefits of maintaining good credit scores, investing in homeownership, supporting reinvestment, revitalizing and preserving communities through homebuyer education, credit counseling, financial literacy, and economic development in partnership with residents, business owners, government officials, nonprofit and not-for-profit developers, and other stakeholders primarily in the City of Camden and throughout the South Jersey Region.
