THE UTAH BLUES SOCIETY MISSION IS TO PRESERVE BLUES HERITAGE, CELEBRATE BLUES RECORDING AND PERFORMANCE, EXPAND STATEWIDE AWARENESS OF THE BLUES, AND ENSURE THE FUTURE OF THIS UNIQUELY AMERICAN ART FORM.

Joe Louis Walker started playing here in Utah in the '80's and regularly came through Salt Lake City for years. He passed on April 30th. We celebrate his life and send prayers to his family and friends. this picture of Joe & KWS, was taken at the BMAs a few years back. RIP JLW! (fb)
