Located in Rush City, Minnesota, it operates independently of the Rush City School District, with its own management structure and bylaws.

Mission and Purpose

RCEF's mission is to promote and enhance student achievement, supporting educational excellence both in the classroom and beyond. The foundation works cooperatively with the Rush City School District and the local community, leveraging resources to augment district funding without replacing core school responsibilities.

Endowments and Gifts

This donation led to the establishment of the John and Evelyn Erickson Bequest Fund, which will provide annual grants to support students and teachers. Additionally, RCEF works with the St. Croix Valley Foundation to manage endowed funds, ensuring perpetual support for educational programs.

Structure

RCEF is governed by a Board of Directors that oversees its operations and strategic decisions. The board members include a president, secretary, treasurer, and other directors who manage various aspects of the foundation's activities.
