At Bremerton Backpack Brigade, our mission is to nourish the bodies, minds, and futures of children in our community by sending weekly backpacks of wholesome food home with them on weekends. We are committed to eradicating weekend hunger and its barriers to success, ensuring that every child has access to the sustenance they need to learn, grow, and thrive. Through our dedicated efforts, we strive to empower a generation, break the cycle of food insecurity, and create a stronger, brighter future for all.

Fighting Hunger: Bremerton Backpack Brigade | Serving 600+ Kids Weekly Help us fill backpacks with healthy food to feed hungry kids on the weekends. Every week during the school year we send backpacks home with elementary school kids in Bremerton. Many kids in our area depend on free lunch programs. The weekends can be challenging for kids and families facing food insecurity.
