Washington Pediatric Hospital’s executive leadership and clinical team proudly joined Governor Wes Moore, state elected officials, and a dedicated patient parent to celebrate the signing of Maryland House Bill 1301. This critical legislation, developed through collaboration with pediatric specialty hospitals, payers, and the Maryland Department of Health, removes insurance authorization barriers that delay vital transfers from acute care hospitals to pediatric specialty care settings. The result?
