We’re a facility of @gcschools focused on hands-on STEM learning for students each school day. We welcome visitors for a variety of scheduled public programs. Roper Mountain Science Center is a unique public-private partnership with the Greenville County School District focused on science education. What we do:  deliver curriculum-based, hands-on learning for students  offer inspiring “edutainment” for the public and  produce state-of-the-art training for teachers. Each year, more than 50,000 students, 4,000 teachers, and 50,000 families and adults visit Roper Mountain Science Center, so the reach into the community is wide. We also reach an additional 30,000 students each year via our outreach programs. Our students come from 45 different school districts in 23 counties and 3 states.
